Didn't take a lot of pics for 366 Snaps a year ago. Those I did shoot were pretty much lighting experiments.
This one, for instance, tries to capture our picture window with light hitting it from both the sun and my lamp. Can't say it was particularly successful, but of such experiments are good photographers made. I think. (Try not to sound so pompous, jowo.)
The photo I posted to 366 Snaps was also a lighting experiment: I photographed one of our maples, with most of its leaves shed, as a high-contrast silhouette. (Another, clearly failed, photo, of a different maple, tried to fade everything together as an abstraction.)
As I say, experiments. Often I'm just experimenting.
