Snow and Sand

On February 26 last year we conquered the Sleeping Bear Dune Climb and followed the paths atop the dune until the trail threatened to take us down to Lake Michigan. So we turned into the painful wind and returned to the car. A good winter's hike.

At which point I called The Boathouse and made reservations for dinner.

Properly speaking, the Dunes pictures weren't outtakes as I'd already posted the day's 366 Snaps photograph, of the East Arm of Traverse Bay.

I'll talk some more about that photograph tomorrow....
