Spiranthes laciniata (Lacelip Ladies'-tresses orchid)

This is a super Spiranthes orchid species. I rescued a couple of plants from a plowed/scraped roadside in southeast Georgia ten years ago, and now I have 15 bloom spikes!
It ranges from coastal New Jersey to southeastern Texas but is not plentiful.
The plants in my bog garden are at least 3 feet (1 meter) tall when in full bloom. A great show piece to accompany the pitcher plants.
