LOL I don't have to worry about the deer resistant part over here!!!!! Yes once they've got their hold in your garden or in the forests, they're there for life unless there is a fire!! They should do very well up the hill under the trees, or where there is shade from the strong heat in the summer, and also protected from the snow in the winter. That might be a good idea, then you can take loads of macros against the trees, or fungi - the list is endless.

If they like your place they can become thugs! Pretty, but thugs nonetheless!
But I like them and although they wouldn't grow in my various London gardens (they don't like chalky clay), they are spectacular in Cornwall.

Yes you're quite right Andy - they obviously love my soil because they are popping up everywhere they can.
