Partridge in a Poplar Tree


This guy was about 40' up; I never would have noticed him if the crows hadn't been carrying on like crazy. Later in the day he was parading around the front property. Perhaps we'll have a family of partridge this year.
(note: actually a ruffed grouse, but everyone here calls them partridge.)
