Heute (5. Oktober 2016) haben wir erfahren, daß PANORAMIO
am 04. November 2016 geschlossen wird.
Bis zum 4. November 2017 haben die Mitglieder noch Gelegenheit, ihre Fotos in Sicherheit zu bringen.
Das war`s dann .... vorbei, vorbei ....

.... yes, we did a lot for a successful petition.
So I founded a special group "Save Panoramio"" (Views ? No thanks !)
....a collection of such creative contributions (like Diane's here) ... and ALL we geotagged to Google's mainquarter in Silicon Valley (some you can see in GE until now !)

But there where a lot of stupids - added a lot of dull photos from their own galleries, searching for more publicity. I left this special group at the end of 2014 .... forget it !

I feel so bad for you and other Panoramio members! It is never a good thing when a community is forced to disperse! Maybe your fellow Panoramio friends can make a good home here on ipernity...
