Loch Carron View

A Loch side garden in the beautiful village of Plockton provides the foreground for this 2019 archive image of Loch Carron,

It was one of the many Herring fishing ports in the area but is now a popular tourist village, In addition, television series and scenes from the Wicker man were filmed here

Herb Riddle ^club

Ah Plockton. We were here too this May but the tide was out and the sky had far less character at this time than yours and so my photo from almost the same spot is nowhere near as good as this beautiful effort. A most wonderful place but a might too many tourist there at mid-day for us. We explored a bit of the countryside around here and so some shots that you too might recognise in my gallery soon. Well done for this.
