I was pruning some shrubs and this magpie came around finding food in and around the cuttings. At times it was only centimetres from my feet. It wasn't bothered by my continual movement. June 2022.

A circuit I built in early 2021 to take a mono unbalanced audio signal at line level from a sound desk, isolate it and provide two pseudo stereo feeds to different devices and a headphone monitoring point. The 4 connections are 6.5mm phone sockets. This was used in enabling church services to be sent over the Web on a conference program. Mouse over for more info. March 2022.

The Murphys Creek station building has been repurposed as a museum. The steam loco water tower is apparently remains here for its visual heritage appeal as it no longer functions. The level crossing works regularly for the passing rail freight, largely coal. Sometimes the crossing can be blocked for a while when a train stops in the loop siding to cross another going in the opposite direction along this single line route. The radio tower provides signals communication and a two-way radio system for the train crews to talk with train control. December 2019.
PS Just noticed a fence on the right and the left, HFF.
