Very nicely composed John..........I like the blue sky and the light on the trees and grasses is lovely.

Not sure I agree with rdhinmn...........I think the lamp post is also leaning slightly to the left.

As Joe says, the sign makes a great focal point. I'm not sure why there is a crash barrier there though......it must be pretty obvious you can't drive past that point.

Another of your photos that I like, but can't really explain why, except that it catches my attention and makes me think! Perhaps that's the point?

Thank you very much, Keith. Mainly I used to go out and wait for something to catch my eye. The best shots were often the ones seen out of the corner of my eye. If there was a mystery involved all the better, because, as you say, it makes you think, but without forcing a conclusion. So instead of interpreting or "understanding" the photo you experience it. You may remember the photo of my niece ordering at Tim Horton's (below).

The crash barrier is probably to protect the lamp post in winter. Country roads can get slippery then.
