Thanks, Ulrich. Wittington is certainly an important part of Canadian culture. One of their many subsidiaries, Loblaw's, has been widely accused of profiteering off the groceries it sells. So Loblaw's CEO resigned, but remains CEO of Wittington.

Wittington, through a labyrinthine corporate structure, owns Primark, among many other companies.
