And far too much glass to wash. In a climate like Toronto's glass-clad buildings make little sense. But in Toronto they're everywhere. A boon for photography, though. Many streets are illuminated on both sides during the middle of the day.

Thanks, Robert. The descriptions of John L'Enfer I read online seemed interesting, so I bought a Kindle copy. I'm looking forward to reading it. Thanks. An extra added attraction for a Canadian is to see how Decoin handles a Cheyenne doing Mohawk work.

Thanks, Herb. I've taken several shots of window washers but these are the only two I like. The second one might be improved by flipping it so that the diagonals run upward to the right.
