I like the way the kiss isn’t central in the frame but to one side of all the city visuals. Most street shots of a kiss I’ve seen make it central. Here it’s...peripheral, almost incidental, though pleasant to find as a surprise.

An interesting point, Steve, thanks. One of my compositional preferences, I think. I like to have something or someone in a lower corner as an anchor.

The first thing I saw was the group of sunny yellow traffic lights (love that color). Then the kissers!

Yellow traffic lights are great, Diane. Among other things, they create prosceniums at every intersection. And of course they help the photographer. And, I should think, drivers.

Black traffic lights are hard to see, whether you're walking, driving, or taking a photo.

I completely agree, John! Anyway, why settle for black (or, sometimes dark green) if you can have a pretty yellow?

The main street near me has 20 at every intersection (including the pedestrian signals). No one knows which is for what, but they are pretty.
