The red sign actually says "Danger due to falling debris", but I liked it better with "falling debris" blown out.

, Diane Putnam, Dutt Changgle, and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

Like a video game - can you get through this minefield without parking or entering or being fallen on or working overhead? And it even came with a small, truncated traffic cone!

The falling debris warning is actually for the workers on the site. The concrete on the driveway ramp has been knocked out, and now there are people working under the rebar, which still has bits of concrete on it.

The warning is actually for the workers on the site, so they all wear helmets.

The "not to do" of city works, outside mess of an unkown master plan.

This is actually a private job, Jose. There is supposed to be a master plan, but they are continually changing it.

A dangerous place, Toronto..!! I'm surprised you don't have to wear a hard-hat whilst you're taking photos!

The danger from falling debris is really to the people working about 8' lower down, Keith, under the rebar remaining after most of the concrete in the driveway ramp was knocked out,.

I forgot the true danger in Toronto is falling trees, Keith. The day after I took this a very brief, intense windstorm took down two trees on the street and many more elsewhere in the older parts of Toronto (the parts with lots of trees). Intense wind and fallen trees are common here. A tree across the street from here was destroyed by lightning, too. The rest of the lost trees in the neighbourhood were destroyed by developers.

It was quite a spot that day, dC. A row of recycling bins behind all this, too.

Haha - it's always nice to be able to add the danger yourself. Could be falling cattle, runaway trains, the apocalypse...
