Und ewig grüßt der Wal
Die Skulptur Alcaraván, oberhalb des Kalkofens in Playa San Juan, ist schon weithin sichtbar. Was für mich wie eine Schwanzflosse eines Wales aussieht, kann aber auch an einen typischen kanarischen Vogel erinnern, den die Einheimischen Alcaraván nennen. Der Große Brachvogel lebt eigentlich mehr auf den östlichen Inseln der Kanaren.
