Das Kongresshotel in Chemnitz wurde 1974 eröffnet und hatte damals 370 komfortable Gästezimmer in 26 Etagen. Mit seinen 97 Metern Höhe ist es das höchste Gebäude in der Stadt. Hier oben, in der letzten Etage, befindet sich das Panorama-Restaurant.
