Hotel Mercure
Die hellen Streifen rechts gehören zum heutigen Kongresshotel Chemnitz. Das Hotel eröffnete 1974 als Interhotel "Kongreß" und war damals das höchste Bauwerk in Karl-Marx-Stadt. Zur Zeit der Aufnahme hieß es noch Mercure. Die rotbraune Porphyrtuffverkleidung links gehört zum hexagonalen Gebäudekomplex der Stadthalle. Beide Fassaden haben einen Abstand von 85 Metern.

Hallo Lothar, vielen Dank für den Stern. Wie die Zimmer von innen aussehen weiß ich auch nicht. Aber sie sind nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. :-)
