Am Ende des im 17. Jhd. entstandenen Äquadukt verhindert ein massiver Zaun den Einstieg in den Wasserkanal. Am Château d'Eau in Montpellier endet der 800m lange Brückenbau. Die Quelle, aus der der Wasservorrat abzweigt, liegt 14 km außerhalb der Stadt.
