Am südlichsten Punkt der französischen Mittelmeerküste liegt das Cap Cerbère an der stark zerklüfteten Felsküste Côte Vermeille. Kurz hinter dem Cap liegt die frnzösisch-spanische Grenze. Die sehr kurvenreiche Küstenstraße entlang zu fahren ist auch ein schönes Erlebnis.
