Ein neues Wahrzeichen von Stralsund ist die Rügenbrücke. Die Pylone sieht aus wie eine überdimensionale Stimmgabel. Mit 127 Metern reckt sie sich in die Höhe und mit 4100 Meter Länge ist die Brücke damit Deutschlands größte Schrägseilbrücke.
