Neue Schanze

Seit Beginn des 20. Jhd. wird in Garmisch-Partenkirchen von Schanzen gesprungen. Die heute aktuelle Große Olympiaschanze wurde im Jahr 2008 eröffnet. Der Turm ist über 60m hoch und der Schanzenrekord liegt bei 143,5 m aus dem Jahre 2010.
