Die abgebildete Brücke ist das einzige erhaltene Exemplar der ursprünglich 11 baugleichen Konstruktionen über den Kanal Arles-Fos. Sie wurde 1959 in Fos abgebaut, 1962 bei Arles aufgestellt und 1997 komplett restauriert.
Diese Brücke wurde durch Vincent van Gogh weltbekannt, als er sie zwischen Mitte März und Mitte Mai 1888 in mehreren Versionen zeichnete und malte.
