J'ai oublié de vous dire que si l'on prenait au sérieux ce montage c'est qu'on serait passé à côté de la dérision que cette chanson ironique de Jacques Dutronc illustre ici à souhait Ah Ah Ah

Vous m'apprenez qu'il s'agit de César, mon amie (j'ai omis de noter la référence lors de ma visite). Voyez que je ne mégalomanise pas tant que ça ! Ouf, Dutronc me sauve... Mais les non francophones ne saisiront pas le bémol que j'introduis à travers sa chanson !

For me this is a meaningful signal for the freedom of art at ipernity.
On Flickr or Facebook such a picture would certainly be censored.

But dear Bernhard, there is nothing porn or even erotisism, not even narcisism, it's only a representation of a famous artwork! the Sistin chapel in the Vatican offers a lot of them at every glance and everyone can admire these works of the same order in particulary all the Italy without shame!!! ( and in Fance in museums so many)

Men can't be appaled by such artworks and women, no more, who have all seen babies or kids, who have washed them , swifted them during years.

Even artistic freedom is not unlimited, as most of us probably know, but decorating a headless, antique statue with the head of a living contemporary witness is certainly no reason for censorship.
When Flickr and Facebook really would censor such creative works, they prove their own incompetence.

I know it's the same in India. But in the cultural areas shaped by the Anglican Church one sees it differently. (Facebook recently even censored the photo of a dog puppy because it resembled a penis.)

Wenn aber selbst die Bilder alter Meister schon abgehängt werden sollen, oder sogar abgehängt werden, bin ich froh, dass ipernity sein Headquarter nicht in New York (www.nzz.ch/feuilleton/petition-entfacht-diskussion-um-anzuegliches-balthus-bild-im-metropolitan-museum-ld.1337182) oder Manchester (www.welt.de/vermischtes/article173117823/Zensur-Vorwurf-Galerie-in-Manchester-haengt-Gemaelde-ab-um-Debatte-auszuloesen.html) hat, sondern in Frankreich.

Je viens de lire les deux articles que tu conseilles de lire sur Balthus à NewYork et la censure, et
le tableau anglais de ce grand peintre John William Waterhouse lui aussi censuré ...
D'abord, laisse-moi te remercier, Bernhard, pour ce partage, vouloir nous éclairer sur ce qui se passe hors de France nous éclaire et nous permet de mieux comprendre les réticences de certaines personnes, mais franchement, c'est fou!
Car, en même temps , dans ces pays, tout ce que l'on montre de reportages télévisés, ou de films violents, sexistes, de meurtres, de guerres, de sang et de misère ne les dérange pas! J'appelle cela de l'hypocrisie............L'art se doit d'être libre. A nous de choisir pour ne pas dépasser les limites et de garder en privé pour famille et amis des images trop osées. De toutes façons la modération est là pour veiller à ne pas dépasser les limites sur Ipernity....Bonne soirée à toi
