Monteverdi et Purcell que vous évoquez sont encore d'autres univers..., qui me touchent mais que je n'ai que survolés jusqu'à présent. Vos suggestions me fournissent une ouverture dans leur oeuvre respective. Je ne vais pas manquer d'écouter ces pièces.

Ma chère Marie, tu me réjouis : je ne me souviens pas avoir entendu parler de ce festival. Apprendre que Marie-Claire Alain (et non pas Gallet :-)) en a été la marraine et la directrice artistique suffit à indiquer son niveau et sa qualité. Puissent mes pas me conduire un jour à ce festival estival autant qu'estimable... Inutile de te préciser que Bach brille au firmament de mes compositeurs favoris ;)

Never known either about Anna magdalena or about the movie!!
More and more I guess I ought to frequent your gallery more and more often, Cher Eric, and not only in order to admire such an image, so admirable in itself, but also so intensively embodying and conveying the story you are referring to with this magic soundtrack; but also..to improve my standard of personal culture.. I'm not kidding at all.
