Rough sketch more-or-less to scale (2 graph-squares = 1 foot) of the library wall... Yes, the ceiling in that part of the room really is that short - a hair over 7ft (2.13m), I can reach the ceiling without stretching too much, and can change the lightbulbes without having to drag out the stepladder. ;) The doors lead to what will eventually be the guest/sewing room (next up, although I probably won't get to it until early spring).
