Rapsons Coaches G453 VSL at Manchester - 16 Apr 1995 (261-25)

Easter Sunday 16 April 1995 (approx. 1345 despite the time on the distant clock) – Rapson’s of Inverness, Scotland G453 VSL pulling out of Chorlton Street Coach Station in Manchester, actually Chorlton Street runs across where the red car is standing, the coach is now on Bloom Street.

At the time this station comprised drive through bays from Major Street, then a public thoroughfare but now part of the re-built coach station which features drive in bays.

It is a Plaxton Expressliner I bodied Volvo B10M new in June 1990 to National Express owned Express Travel Services that was working the 0810 National Express service 738 from Oxford to Glasgow – spot on time due in at 1335 and out at 1345.
