Eire - "Durty Nelly's" (1620) and Bunratty Castle

Excellent evening meal in "Durty Nelly's" - best medium rare sirloin I have had, in years, although the mussels were a bit gritty, according to a fellow diner...it is obviously a tourist trap much favoured by Americans judging by all the US police forces' banners and badges adorning its ceiling beams. Entrance fee to Bunratty at Euro 15 per head seemed extortionate, but again aimed at the transatlantic tourist market. It made Scotland's various historic sites seem very good value for money in comparison.
