Climb up there, with 108 steps...

The viewpoint (the 3rd built) with 18,5 m high and 108 steps, was inaugurated in 1994. It stands on the Mount Avaloirs, the highest point of the Armorican Massif and the "Big West" (Normandy, Brittany and Loire-Valley) with its 417 m.

Serge, if you type "Mont des Avaloirs" in your search engine, then click on "Images" you'll find a lot of photos and within there panorama views. And you'll note that this tower is definitely the highest point there...

Christiane, c'est vrai qu'à l'époque (1994) la construction était assez controversée, mais depuis tout le monde s'est habitué et ne voit que l'avantage de pouvoir profiter d'un panorama superbe .... (un peu comme la Tour Eiffel ;-))
