oh yes, that's what we all are.

To know that we are insignificant in that view is a great wisdom and can help us to act wise.
e.g. in the way Gandhi felt insignificant, when he said (something like) this : " i am no Special person, everybody else could do what i've done, if they only do it with compassion and full Engagement"
