I like the lyric in the first song where he says: "They send Boeings from Tacoma." (Tacoma is about 60 miles from where I live. :)

The other song is a classic that I first heard by Sheena Easton way back when. She does a nice version of it too. (I never have seen "Beaches" but it sounds like a good movie.)

Tacoma is about a 3 hour drive to the Canadian border so not an actual border town so to speak.
