Many thanks Nora. The summer house is perched above the river and was built by the late
laird of Glenmoriston. The summer house overlooks the largest of the Invermoriston falls and was built to shelter the laird's guests whilst they watched the salmon leaping the falls.

Thank you Esther. You can get to the old smmerhouse through the woods, but it is quite a drop down to the falls. It was good to see it from this direction though as you can see how it is just perched on the edge. Have a lovely weekend

Thank you Dave. Although this part may not look that wide the river is actually quite fast flowing and would be quite treacherous if you fell in I would imagine. I can't say I felt entirely safe standing up outside of the summer house. Have a lovely weekend
