Covid-19 hat zur Zeit mehr oder weniger den ganzen Planeten fest im Griff. Wann Medikamente und Impfungen zur Verfügung stehen, um die gobale Infektionswelle zu brechen, kann im Moment niemand sicher sagen. Die wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen werden mit Sicherheit in allen Staaten dramatisch sein. Wie lange die Krise noch andauern wird kann niemand sagen. Ich vertraue aber darauf, dass durch die Mithilfe aller Bürger, medizinische Erfolge und kluge politische Maßnahmen diese Krankheit und ihre Auswirkungen besiegt werden kann.

Covid-19 currently controls more or less the whole planet. When medication and vaccinations will be available to break the global wave of infection, nobody can say for sure at the moment. The economic impact will certainly be dramatic in all states. How long the crisis will continue, no one can say for sure. But I am confident that with the help of all citizens, medical successes and wise policies, this disease and its effects can be defeated.
