The sinking of HMS Tiger 2nd April 1908


The Royal Navy Destroyer HMS Tiger was sunk when it was hit by the much larger cruiser Berwick on the 2nd of April 1908. The Tiger was sliced in two and reputedly sank in three minutes, 35 sailors were drowned. Not all of the crew are shown on this postcard.
