Skinny Buddha

Mandalay: so we rented bicycles and set out to see the things close to our end of Mandalay city. Our first stop was this place with several unusual Buddha images, built in 2011. (I feel silly not knowing what the proper name of this shrine is.) Images of the Buddha in at the end of his life are to be seen in different countries in Asia, but this one was pretty unusual in its design. Rather modern and stylised.
