Muesumseisenbahn "Pollo"

Mein Besuch beim "Pollo" stand lange auf dem Wunschzettel. Dadurch, daß das eine Museumsstrecke und nicht immer dampfbetriebener Fahrbetrieb ist, für mich nicht so einfach. Der Himmel hätte gern etwas blauer sein dürfen. Immerhin konnte ich durch den Raps etwas Farbe in's Bild bringen. Nach dem Mittag fing es auch noch etwas zu tröpfeln an, aber das tat dem Erlebnis "nostalgische Dampfeisenbahn" keinen Abbruch.

...na halt doch mal die Sense aus`m Fenster...Raps wird so schön EU-gefördert. Vor lauter Gelb sieht man hier in NRW kein Grün mehr... Sternchen.

Hier gibt es schon auch viele Rapsfelder, aber Korn habe ich auch schon geshehen. Also, nicht den in der Flasche. ;-)

So eine herrliche Bimmelbahn mit offenem Waggon.
War am Wochenende in Nordhessen und Südniedersachsen unterwegs, soviel Raps auf den Feldern. Brauchen wir kein Brot mehr???

Uwe, bei mir zu Hause im Sächsischen gibt es auch einiges an Eisenbahnromantik zu sehen, aber den Pollo hatte ich schon länger auf dem Zettel stehen. Es hat sich immer nicht ergeben. Da der Pollo "nur" eine Museumsbahn ist, fahren die nicht immer und auch nicht immer mit Dampf. Den offenen Wagen habe ich gestern nicht getestet. Dafür war es mir zu kühl. Und wozu Brot? Das bischen, was ich esse, kann ich trinken. ;-) VG, Frank

Ich glaube, da hat man das eher einfach als Verkehrsmittel betrachtet, oder? Aber schön eigentlich, wenn man sich da so zurückerinnert. Die Bahn habe ich damals übrigens nicht benötigt, um zur Schule zu kommen. Chemnitz hatte schon immer einen guten Nahverkehr mit Bus und Straßenbahn.

Hello Peter, thanks for the praise. I am very pleased that you like the picture.

The "Pollo" is a small museum railway of a former narrow gauge in the Prignitz, a landscape in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The route is 18.7 km long.

The flowers in the foreground, this is a rape field.
