The power house contains a steam engine with compressor, further a steam turbine with generator and the control panels. The steam engine and steam turbine are from 1908.

The second hall has amazing dimensions.

The sugar factory opened in 1851 and closed in 1988. The main building shows the north facade (to the left) and has been erected in 1905. The most important buildings were the diffusion station, the laboratories, the beet house, the filter press house, the machine house, the so called ground house and the filter tower. At the begin of operation about 200 tons of beets per day were processed, but the capacity increased soon to 700 tons. 1908 a steam turbine and electric generator were added, which are still there. There were 3 severe fires in 1907, 1944 and 1953.

The former spinning mill in Brno is situated next to the Svitava River. The most beautiful, the spinning mill has to offer, is the four-storey etagere from 1912 with distinctive industrial windows in metal frames. Inside all halls are empty, unfortunately all machines are gone. This is one of the oldest reinforced concrete skeletons in the Czech Republic. A small hydro power plant is still in operation. At the height of its glory, the factory employed up to 600 workers and was one of the region's most important factories. After the war, the Essler spinning mill was nationalised in 1948 and operated under the name of the National Enterprise Moravian-Silesian Woolen Mills. Production ended in 1992.
