The engine building was created in 1901. Inside you find a steam hoisting machine dating back to 1900, launched two years later. It served the neighboring mine shaft – „Oppurg” (later called „Głowacki").

Ignacy Historic Mine is an industrial complex located on the site of the former hard coal mine, which has been renovated and adapted. It's situated in Rybnik in the south of Poland. - I made only a short visit, because many buildings were still closed early on that day.
