Chicago - Carbide & Carbon - 1986

To the right you see the "Carbide & Carbon Building", a polished black granite Art Deco building trimmed by green terra cotta and gold, its 153 m tall with 38 floors and was completed in 1929. Now it's a 4-star "Hard Rock Hotel". - scanned slide, Minolta X700

Peaceful week ahead.
Interesting architecture too. Am puzzled by what a 'Hard Rock Hotel' could be, Berny. It sounds uncomfortable. Soft pillows and bedding would be more my thing to sleep on methinks!
Excellent, Berny!
Er ist der Gentleman unter den Gebäuden...sehr schön Berny!
