Chicago - Books and Magazines - 1986

This is N.State Street / Randolph street in 1986. The PiP shows Google Street View today. I found 2 items, which remained after 35 years, the masts of the two street lamps, nothing else ;-) The left building had been built in 1872.

Nichts ist für immer.
Was mir an den Stadtansichten immer wieder gut gefällt sind die Feuertreppen.
Würde mich interessieren, ob die so in der Form bei uns erlaubt wären.
Berny club has replied to TaorminaTaormina has replied to Berny clubÖffentliche Gebäude schon mehr.
Gab es 1872 schon die Pflicht der Feuertreppen?
Die neuen Gebäude haben ja keine mehr.... ?!
Übrigens: Der zweite Kriminalroman von Andrew Shaffer "Hope Rides Again" über Barack Obama und Joe Biden als Ermittlerduo handelt in Chicago. Sehr amüsant! :-)
