An excursion attraction from St. Johann in Tyrol (Austria). You can take the cable car up to the Harschbichl (1,604 m). This is where the photo was taken. A well-kept hiking trail leads to the summit. There are 392 metres of altitude to overcome. A Mountain Avens (Dryas octopetala) , which exists at altitudes between 1,200 and 2,500m. The special thing about this alpine flower is that it attaches loose scree with its taproots and thus protects against erosion. ~~~~~ Ein weißer Silberwurz (Dryas octopetala) , der in Lagen zwischen 1.200 bis 2.500m vorkommt. Das Besondere an dieser Alpenblume ist, dass sie mit ihren Pfahlwurzeln loses Geröll befestigt und so vor Erosionen schützt. ~~~~~
