Cutout of a picture which was captured with 250 mm = 540 mm KB äquivalent (crop faktor=1,5 / cutout factor=1,44).
Why I choosed that title?
Hiking further we frigthend by a sharp snap. The herd of aprox. 20 chamois sprinted down the hill. If an amimal was shooted? I don't know. But it might be and is a part of the reality, too.

Und der Titel? Kurze Zeit später hörten wir einen scharfen Knall. Ein Schuss. Die ganze Herde, etwa 20 Tiere, rannte in Panik bergab. Keine Ahnung, ob ein Tier erlegt wurde. Aber die Gamsjagd ist auch Teil der Realität. Sie war früher der einzige Grund für Menschen, sich überhaupt in die Bergwelt zu begeben.

Bergfex club has replied to Susanne HoyAndererseits: Wenn die Jäger nicht regulierend eingreifen, leidet der Lawinen-Schutzwald unter zu hohem Wildverbiss. (Weil das Rot- und Gamswild im Winter die jungen Triebe anknabbert, verjüngt sich der Wald nicht mehr richtig.) Dann wird es irgendwann für die Siedlungen im Tal richtig gefährlich!
