HDR Experiment ... Photomatix Using 3 Images - Balanced Preset

HDR Experiment ... Photomatix Using 3 Images - Balanced Preset
So, as a comparison here's what happens when you use the same 3 images, but in PhotoMatix and process using the Balanced preset.

To me this has much more life to it than the rather flat image PaintShop Pro produced using the same 3 images and notice how Photomatix has all but eliminated those ghost clouds.

What do you think?

I like this too, better than the first... and the blue sky is fine with me.. it's not 'too blue' good work Paul.

I agree Wendi, this was my favourite too ... at least up to this point in the process - no pun intended of course! ;)

I prefer this one Paul. It looks more "natural". I also think that its better than the mono version because the colour gives a good separation between the building and the sky.

Thanks very much for the input Graham. It sure is a tricky area or at least it's a technique that divides opinion! :)
