Peaches never last long with us ... we enjoy them so much. This is an interesting shape for a peach, have seen them but yet to try one. Lovely light stoker. Bravo (did it taste like a regular peach)?

Made we think of the children's book, James and The Giant Peach.James & his fellow travelers . They would have a better surface to sit on during their travels. :)

Thanks all for the kind comments and stars, I thought the idea of a flat peach was quite funny too, taste wise they're rather nice, they need to be eaten quite ripe, the flavour is more subtle than that of a standard peach, and has a hint of pineapple to it . . .

They can be very good! Specially the smaller ones I advise you to choose.
