Sans-Serif

Disseminated during the period of Art Nouveau in Germany was the caracter style by Otto Eckmann. But this time was much experimentation on the one hand and on the other, the fonts has developed towards less decorative shapes. The readability was an increasingly important factor for the success of a font.
Carl Otto Szeschka (= COC) developed his own writings, which are here at the Art Nouveau windows in Hamburg using an idea of the stylistic changes. The allocation of space and the momentum is important to the artist. Above all, it is the absence of ornaments.
In the text fields, the glass has facets, thereby amplifying the expression of the Scripture.
