South America was a Plane Spotter's Paradise, as a lot of the wartime areoplanes were bought up from America to start up small airlines. Here is a Douglas DC3 (left) and a Convair CV-240, neither of which are in working order. You can often find the plane's history on the Internet, if you can read the registration number somewhere on the fuselage.
