30 The Restaurant Area Balcony

Although there was an enclosed sitting area in the Restaurant, all our meals were taken out on the open air balcony with a superb view across the sea. However, sitting on the outside edge of the balcony usually resulted in emergency relocation for the unaware, as there were regular deluges in the evening just after meals had started. We quickly learnt to sit on the inside of the balcony under the covering awning, just missing the free showers.
