Old Timers Parade

Old Timers Parade
A beards photo for the Vintage Photos Theme Park.

Handwritten note on the back of this real photo postcard: "Uncle Jim in the Old Timers Parade."

I don't know where or when this "Old Timers Parade" took place, and I'm not even sure which one is "Uncle Jim." I'm certain, though, that it must have taken quite some time for these fellows to put on grow those long beards and moustaches!

What a wonderful find, Alan! And what a funny group - just great.
I wonder where this was? Interesting brick work on the road.
What's your guess for the year? I was going to guess later initially, but looking at the woman's hat perhaps 1908-12 is a better guess.

Thanks, Deborah! The other side has a divided back and an AZO "Place Stamp Here" stamp box with triangles pointing up in each of the four corners, a design that different sources (see, for instance, the Metropolitan Postcard Club of New York City's Guide to Real Photo Postcards) date roughly to 1904-1918. For some reason I was thinking that it could be much later--1930s or 1940s--but the 1910s might be a better guess, especially if you recognize the style of hat.

I wasn't able to discern any other details that might help identify the place or time. There's no way to date the brick paving as far as I can tell, and "Old Timers" parades apparently date to various old and early times in different places.
