Wasp and Prey

I noticed a Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly in trouble yesterday, flapping on the ground, by the time I reached it it was dead, killed by a wasp which was already busily butchering its prey in order to take its prize back to its nest in small pieces. Not the best of images but during the struggle they had fallen down into thick undergrowth, getting any image at all was tricky, hence the out of focus blur at top left. Uncropped image.
