Studied 1876-78 at the Conservatory in Zurich and 1878-80 at Munich singing Carl Gloggner and Adolf Schimon, 1880-89 engaged court theater Munich, Debut as Page Urbain in Meyerbeer's "Les Huguenots" 1889-1910 engaged at the Imperial Opera Berlin; 1883 repeated performances at the Bayreuth Festival, in several European cities, 1899/1900 also at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. In Switzerland, ion. Her repertoire was immense (about a hundred opera roles); but she also worked as an oratorio and concert singer. Worked as a singing teacher, 1903-10 at the Royal Academy of Music Berlin and 1910-22 as director of the courses for solo singing at the Zurich Conservatory. rOLES Included Papagena in Mozart's "The Magic Flute", Blondchen in his "Abduction from the Seraglio", Ännchen in Weber's " Der Freischütz "and Drolla in the premiere of → Richard Wagner" "Die Feen".
