We had to improvise to prevent the takeoff of the towels. This occurred near Porto Santo Hotel and SPA.
The SPA provides treatments with warm local sand over the skin. That sand has bioclasts of red weeds, rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, sulfur and strontium, which penetrate the skin after solved in the sweat generated by the appliance of warm sand. Those minerals have anti-inflammatory properties, reinforcing the bones' structure and the joints and improving the health of muscles. People from many countries, with rheumatism or problems on bones or muscles, seek Porto Santo to get such therapy, with successful results.
