Uninvited

That awkward moment when you realize you were not invited to the dinner party.
This little rascal was mooching for food at our picnic table. He left disappointed. We never feed the wildlife.

I created the mirrors and flips in Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X3. I placed them in the Ducks in a Row collage on Pic Monkey. I polished it up with some cloning in Paintshop.

My cat likes to rest in between the monitor and the keyboard. It looks as though he is in for a big surprise. The end is nigh.

Common Tern After the Plunge
I was at our lake property on a crisp, clear, early September day. There was no wind and the lake was still. I started to hear plunging sounds in the water. I went to the shore to investigate. These Common Terns were having a good time diving for minnows. They would not go down further than their body length and then pop up out of the water to gain altitude and dive all over again.
Stay tuned for more as I process them. They were very difficult to track and capture but I got used to their aerial tactics after several observations and could anticipate when they were going to dive.
Improving Density
There is a greater commitment to improve population density in the inner part of the city as a response to urban sprawl. New apartment condominiums are going up everywhere in the core of our city.
